Oxychick | I mean, astrologically speaking, that is. What placements can do that? What should I be looking for? Thanks! ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Alena | Hi Oxychick. I know what you mean about a rash temper and betrayal. Do you have some fixed signs in your chart? More importantly, what sign/house/aspects is your Mercury OR Moon making and to what houses? My temper and harsh words are from Mercury opposite Mars? I've also got Uranus in the 3rd (shocking communication). |
Oxychick | Thanks, Alena- Yes, I have fixed signs alright! Sun/Mercury-Aquarius (10th House) Mars in Aquarius (9th House) Moon/Jupiter-Leo (3rd House) Uranus in Scorpio (6th House) Chiron-Taurus (does that count)(12th House) Vertex in Scorpio (i don't know the importance if the Vertex, but Astro.com lists it) As for Mercury Aspects... Conjunt Sun and Mars Square Uranus Sextile Neptune in Sag. (7th House) Trine Pluto in Libra (5th House) Trine Ascendant in Gemini Conjunct Midhaven Moon Aspects... Conjunct Jupiter Square Chiron Square Vertex ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Bissie | Hi Oxy, maybe it comes from your Mercury conj Mars and Sun. Does Sun and Mars conjunct each other also ? If they conjunct - that adds a great deal to your temper. I have Mars in Leo conjunct Sun on my DC, opposing ASC and boy, do I have a fiery temper. Tantrum outbursts are common.I don`t think anger has a lot to do with our Moons, its mostly Mars what makes as to react and Mercury - to deliver it out. |
Oxychick | Yes, Bissie, they're all conjunct in Aquarius. Mars in Leo, eh? I'll bet that's an aggressive position. They're also conjunct my MC. Thanks!! ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Alena | Biss is right. Mercury conjunct Sun/Mars (especially in fixed signs) square Uranus would explain a temper. I also made a vow to myself not to fly off the handle. Easier said than done though. |
Foxxy | Not to mention that Pluto backing all those aspects will give you staying power and scorpionic power. I have Mars sq Pluto and you can bet not many recover when I attack . . |

Oxychick | Hehe Foxxy-I keep thinking of the movie "Mars Attacks" I don;t have any negative aspects to Pluto in my chart. ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
Oxychick | Actually, Foxxy, on that Pluto note...I have Pluto Trine Mars and Mercury....could that explain why the haste and the height of my anger are within the first few hours? By the next day the heat usually subsides considerably. ------------------ "What lies behind us and lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us." -Ralph Waldo Emerson |
starlette | Oxychich, I am yet to meet someone who does not have a hot temper , at least once in a while Mars in my chart sextiles both the sun and mercury, but the violent temper tantrums that may erupt at some inconvenient times, are most probably due to my Mars squaring Pluto lette

Randall | Mars in Aquarius here. Quick Uranus temper, but quick to forgive. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark |
Foxxy | Its entirely possible your (Mars) temper flares and then picks up power from Pluto, and then through Mercury is exercised again. In fact that makes a lot of sense to me .. Speaking of Uranus & temper the only problems I've had with other people anger and violence have involved heavy uranus pluto doses. Specifically when it comes to my mother my Pluto sits within three degrees of her mars, directly opposed by her moon. To make things more fun we have my mars square her mars, and Uranus in her chart opposes my sun and mercury while my Uranus squares her sun saturn cnj and opposes her mercury. Needless to say we're both rather challenging to each others sense of identity. When we fight its sudden and powerful (And on my end LOUD, the famous story being me at the age of eight standing in the kitchen 'No mom I'm REALLY mad, Really Really Mad and if we don't {Whatever} I'm going to be Mad at you FOREVER' and her turning around and replying 'I can see that dear, theres steam coming out your ears'. I'm still mad. heh. And it was over a goldfish but thats a longer story) she apparently had no idea what I was so mad about. Anyway I could go on, and if you want to hear more I will but for now I'll stop blathering. |
morgana | Mars in Aquarius square Moon in Scorpio (quick temper, but slow to forgive) and opposite Ascendant. Mars in the 7th - aggression from or towards other people. Uranus square Sun - does that also mean a quick temper? Foxxy, I fought EVERY DAY with my mother (she is the exact opposite of everything I stand for), we were screaming constantly at each other, until I moved out. And from that moment on, everything is fabulous. I can even talk to her like a human being. I think that Uranus-Sun disharmony in your charts has to do with authority. I noticed that a lot of you (us) here (on the forum) have Mars in Aquarius. shine on! |
